Veneers
If you teeth are chipped, broken, or discolored, porcelain veneers are a great way to change the color and shape of your teeth.  A porcelain veneer is a covering over the tooth that gives natural color and bridges small gaps.  Veneers can be a great alternative to braces for slight orthodontic problems and provide a beautiful smile in a short amount of time.

Bleaching - Teeth Whitening
We use a variety of teeth whitening techniques, including Rembrandt Sapphire, to get your teeth their whitest and brightest.  Rembrandt Sapphire the revolutionary in-office process that gets your teeth their whitest in just over an hour. Our in-home teeth whitening kits are easy to use and great results are achieved in 4 to 6 weeks.  Call our office to learn more about our teeth whitening options.

Crowns & Bridges
We provide excellent restorative dental care.  If your teeth are damaged or decayed, crowns may be constructed to restore them back to their original form.   If you have missing teeth, a bridge may be utilized.  These restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as "fixed" dentistry as opposed to a restoration of missing teeth with a removable appliance or partial denture.

Dental Implants
Implants are an increasingly popular alternative to dentures, crowns and bridges. They have many advantages, including their natural appearance, improved comfort and unequaled convenience. If you are considering implants, we can discuss the considerations and help you make the decision that is right for you.

One Visit Crowns/Root Canal
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure in which the diseased or damaged nerve of a tooth is removed so that the tooth can be saved or restored.  We are typically able to do a root canal, using digital radiography, in one visit.

Bonding
Bonding is covering the front surface of teeth with durable plastic to either change the tooth's color or shape, or the rebuild broken teeth.  Bonding is similar to veneers, but not as strong, but it is a low-cost way to improve your smile.  Bonding is great for children who have chipped front teeth and for adults who need an alternative for veneers and understand the limitations.

Tooth Colored Fillings
Inlays and Onlays are tooth-colored restorations that are used in place of silver fillings on the chewing surfaces of back teeth.  This approach has become very popular because silver (mercury) fillings are not safe and are less attractive.

Gum Therapy / Shaping
If the shape or fullness or your gums is a problem, the contours and shape of the gums can be changed to provide a more attractive appearance and protect the teeth.  Using lasers, we can shape the gum precisely while minimizing bleeding.  In some cases, synthetic bone can be added under the gums to build areas where trauma or gum disease has occurred.

Invisalign (Orthodontics)
Associates in Family Dentistry has advanced training and participates in many hours of post graduate study pertaining to orthodontics and invisible braces. With new techniques some orthodontic cases can be completed in as little as 10 months. Thanks to CAD CAM technology, Invisalign is able to transform smiles in months without wires. Some orthodontic cases will need traditional braces, but with modern technology even traditional braces are less noticeable and more comfortable then ever. Orthodontics is changing and more patients are finding that braces are not just meant for children.

Periodontal & Hygiene Care
Proper hygiene care and regular checkups is key to maintaining healthy gums and teeth.  Periodontal disease is a common oral infection.  Gum disease is a painless and slow progressing disease that destroys the bony support of the teeth, and because it doesn't usually hurt, most patients aren't aware they have this problem.

Infection Control
Associates in Family Dentistry is OSHA compliant, and follows the same OSHA sterilization recommendations for hospitals.
